Cyclists Fighting Cancer: help children and young people living with cancer across the UK regain their physical fitness, improve mental wellness and reduce social isolation by giving them new lightweight bikes, specially adapted trikes, cycling related equipment and support.

Ella Dawson Foundation: The Ella Dawson Foundation works alongside a team of experts to enable young adults, aged 18-30 yrs old, and their families and carers access tailored wellbeing support packages unique to their needs at any stage of their cancer diagnosis within a safe, supporting and likeminded community.
Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust: 8-17yr and 18-25yrs. A national charity that offers free sailing and outdoor adventures, young people laugh, gain a new sense of purpose and self-worth, rediscover independence, and feel optimism for the future.

Finding Your Feet: they support families affected by amputation or limb absence through a range of sporting initiatives and social inclusion projects designed to positively affect both physical and mental wellbeing.

Kirk Murdoch Charitable Trust: the aim of the trust is to provide much needed financial support to young people in Scotland, whose lives have been impacted by cancer, who participate in sport.

Move Against Cancer: their mission is to support and empower everyone impacted by cancer to be more active because movement matters. Exercise - all movement - is one of the most important things anyone diagnosed with cancer can do to enhance wellbeing and improve health outcomes both during and after treatment. They have 3 areas of work:

  • 5k Your Way groups - over 120+ community-led 5k Your Way groups across the UK and Ireland, located at designated parkruns, encouraging people impacted by cancer to walk, run or jog as much or little of 5k as they can.
  • The MOVE Online Programme - A bespoke online movement programme for 13-30-year-olds with cancer, run by our Level 4 cancer rehab specialists and informed by the needs of the young people themselves.
  • Movement Hub - An online information hub full of movement videos, inspiring blogs, informative workshops, community resources and a thought-provoking podcast.

The Wave Project: their six week introduction to surfing therapy helps them to overcome their worries about the water and feel more confident about taking on different challenges. As well as learning to surf, participants are also supported by their own personal Surf Mentor, who encourages them in their surfing journey and helps build their confidence and resilience in the waves.
Trekstock: Discover support, programmes and community for people in their 20s + with cancer. Trekstock Cancer Support covers diagnosis treatment and beyond.
