Governance has been approved by the Public Services Delivery Scotland (previously NES) Medical Directory Quality and Safety Group.
Public Services Delivery Scotland Medical Directory Quality and Safety Group will also oversee the ongoing development of the toolkit.
Content will be managed by Paul Bowie and Paul Watson. The toolkit will be updated when new branding for Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is confirmed. The toolkit will then be reviewed every two years.
Public Services Delivery Scotland has adapted, with permission, the style and content of these cards from the version developed by the originators and copyright holders EUROCONTROL (European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation).
All icons are sourced from Flaticon.com [https://www.flaticon.com/
], accessed through the licence held by Tactuum Ltd as software provider of the RDS platform.
The toolkit has been risk assessed, and mitigations put in place where required. Public Services Delivery Scotland has reviewed and confirms that there is no risk to patient safety. If the app fails there are physical cards that can be downloaded for use in team meetings.
This toolkit is not a medical device.
This toolkit does not store or process any personally identifiable information. The reflection form is hosted on Jotform, and all submitted data is automatically deleted one hour after completion. Jotform’s privacy policy is available here.
User testing was conducted in March 2026 to assure usability, navigation, readability and appropriate formatting. The feedback provided was positive and the suggested changes have been made to the toolkit.
Informational content has been checked in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Website and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
An accessibility check of the toolkit was done in May 2026 using the RDS standard operating procedure. The accessibility of the RDS platform technology is confirmed in the RDS accessibility statement at the bottom of every website page.
Feedback and/or complaints can be sent to HumanFactors@nes.scot.nhs.uk.
